The Continuous Learning Environment:
Surviving Learning Solution Discovery

As learning shifts away from formal training opportunities and closer to actual work activity, it's critical that we as learning professionals create continuous learning environments for employees. This paper explores the various attributes of such environments and probes the ways in which various moments of learning need can be met by approaching learning as a continuous process. As elements of design, media and space play unique roles in the ways individuals' learn, so each must be reconsidered for optimal functionality in continuous learning environments, the ultimate goal being to create more "holistic" learning solutions that improve performance and save dollars.
